Cap Rocat, in its commitment to combating climate change, improving sustainability, and developing more responsible tourism, has implemented a number of initiatives at the hotel. These actions include the creation of a garden for the production of local and zero-kilometre food; the installation of a monitoring system for water, energy and waste consumption; and the launch of a platform for the management of organic waste, focused on reducing waste and segregation at source.

These actions have been supported by a de minimis grant as part of the aid scheme for funding projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and promoting a circular economy in tourism establishments, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
